I was raised in Canada and completed my undergraduate and graduate studies in South Korea before starting my Ph.D. at London Business School. 

Before my academic pursuits, I studied classical music at an art school, completing various programs spanning performance and theory (Royal Conservatory of Music). I occasionally serve as a translator for masterclasses.

I also enjoy a variety of winter sports, with snowboarding being my favorite.
